My Boo Crew

Another Halloween has come and gone, and once again my reborn dolls got the full seasonal treatment! This year I dressed up nine babies from my collection, and honestly, it never gets old.

For those who don't collect reborns, this might sound a little extra—and okay, it totally is! But there's something so satisfying about going through my collection each season and deciding who gets to shine. Do I go with my vampire baby? The little one who looks perfect in a tiny witch hat? The sweetheart who absolutely rocks a pumpkin onesie?

I've been doing this seasonal styling thing for a while now. It started as just a fun way to celebrate the holidays, but it's become this beautiful ritual of marking time. Spring brings pastels and bonnets, summer means beach outfits and sun hats, fall is all about cozy sweaters and Halloween costumes, and winter? Full-on holiday magic.

The photography part is my favorite. Setting up little scenes, getting the lighting just right, capturing each doll's unique personality in their seasonal attire. Each photo session feels like I'm creating these tiny visual stories, honoring both my babies and the turning of the year.

My non-collector friends think I'm delightfully weird, and you know what? They're not wrong. But this brings me so much joy, and isn't that what hobbies are supposed to do?

Reborn dolls aren't just regular baby dolls, though.  In future posts I plan to explain each doll sculpt and it's original artist!
