I am a digital artist, poet, and writer working at the intersection of visual and literary art. My practice spans traditional Photoshop techniques and contemporary AI collaboration, creating layered compositions that explore memory, dreams, and the interior landscape of human experience.
Education & Recognition
I hold five degrees, including a Master's in psychology and majors in English literature and mental health counseling. Since my youth, I have published poetry under various names—over 80 poems have appeared in print and online journals, earning multiple nominations for the Pushcart Prize and Best of the Web. I have authored five books of poetry, one novel, and one novella.
Artistic Practice
For fourteen years, I have worked in digital mixed media, creating intricate photo manipulations and digital paintings. Each piece is meticulously constructed from multiple source images—some compositions contain up to thirty separate elements—which I blend and harmonize before digitally overpainting to add depth and atmosphere. My most complex works require up to twenty-four hours to complete.
This site presents my paired artwork and poetry, where visual and written art speak to each other in dialogue. Each digital painting is accompanied by an original poem, creating unified artistic statements that invite contemplation and emotional resonance.
Creative Living
My life is shaped by intentional rhythms: quarterly travel, a perpetually overflowing personal library, live music experiences, and ongoing study through various learning platforms. I practice journal writing, art journaling, paper crafting, baking, and cooking. Recently, I have been learning acoustic guitar and exploring reborn doll photography as creative meditation.
After deliberate consideration, I have stepped away from social media. This blog remains my primary digital presence for personal creative work—a space where authentic expression takes precedence over algorithmic performance. My practice has always been driven by personal expression rather than commercial objectives, though selected works are available for purchase through linked galleries.
Philosophy
Art, for me, exists as both creative outlet and means of connection. I am a confessional poet at heart, committed to work that spills truth in stanzas and finds meaning in details. The moon and stars remind me that wonder is always available to those who remember to look up.
This corner of the web exists as a gallery of ongoing becoming—a place where friends, family, and kindred creative spirits can witness the work of hands and heart. Here, the work speaks for itself.
